Nigel de Jong will not be joining Arsenal Football Club this summer.
The Holland international has helped Manchester City win the FA Cup and Premier League over the past two years, but he has recently struggled to hold down a starting place.
It has been suggested that the Gunners are prepared to pay as much as £10million to sign de Jong, but the 27-year-old midfielder is happy to see his contract out with the Blues.
"My contract runs for another year, so I'm in a pretty good position,” he told told NU Sport. "I want to stay. I've been at the club more than three years and I'm feeling really well.”
