Mido impressed with Barnsley passion
02:30 PM 22 June, 2012
Mido has been impressed with the passion of Barnsley Football Club.

The Egyptian striker has joined the Tykes after being released by Zamalek, in what is being considered as something of a coup for the Championship club.

Mido has experience of playing in England before, and as well as being glad to be back in the country, he admits he was also bowled over by Keith Hill and the passion of the Oakwell side.

"I have played in different leagues - Holland, France, Italy and Spain - and always thought the best league for me and the way I play is England,” he told Sky Sports.

"I came here last week to meet the manager and I liked what he said to me and his plans. I think it's a club with a lot of passion and hopefully me coming here will help them.”
