The England international is currently away with Roy Hodgson’s squad at Euro 2012, where he is playing backup to Manchester City’s Joe Hart.

Green was a free agent this summer having left West Ham United at the end of his contract, but he has now moved across the capital after agreeing a two-year deal with QPR.

“I'm delighted to be here,” the 32-year-old the official club site. “I'm excited about the challenge ahead and hugely encouraged by the direction in which the owners and Mark Hughes are looking to take the club. It's an exciting period for everybody connected to QPR and I can't wait to get started."
