Carlisle realistic over Cook
11:00 AM 30 June, 2012
Carlisle United accept it will be difficult to sign Jordan Cook.

The 22-year-old impressed the Cumbrians whilst on loan last season, and he has since been released by Premier League side Sunderland.

Carlisle manager Abbott would love to now take Cook on a permanent basis, but he accepts the competition for the striker is likely to be fierce.

"The last we heard from Jordan Cook was that he was also talking to a Championship club," Abbott said. “The door isn't as open as it was a few weeks ago.”

I was very interested to learn that the small town of Carlisle was lgrleay opposed to the Constitution in the late 1700s. The people of the back country feared that the new government would ring about a natural aristocracy , where elite, educated citizens would dominate rural folk and the town even viewed the local College (Dickinson College), as a potential breeding ground for such aristrocrats. Reading these accounts, I can't help but draw a similarity between the Carlisle Riot and an idea that I have discussed in another class which is the idea that rural opposes change . Carlisle is a town that was not in immediate vicinity to any major cities, such as Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. It was a town in which the elite citizens were most like landowners and farmers. The rural opposes change idea suggests that these people, farmers and landowners, oppose change because it usually means something negative in regards to their land or their standing in their rural society. I could see how the people of Carlisle grew upset with the ongoing Federalist rallies in their town, for they say these people as a threat tot heir land and their stability. They also feared that the local college would serve as an incubator for this new federal thought , and would further support the rising ideals of Federalism in their small town. Overall, I can't help but feel that the Carlisle Riot, was an of Security, with regards to the Anti-Federalists.

I feel that Ferguson is always try his best to set up attnkciag team and get punished by good team more often than not. Rooney often help defense a lot but he is forward player not a midfielder, Anderson is no use in defense mode and Fletcher is not up to 100% condition yet.It was Park run this two men midfielders stunt show for three seasons. Feel Ferguson test young players in this game to see whether they can cope hard game or not and it is backfired badly. United need one central mid or team will struggle with exactly same pattern to last season. I cannot understand why not bring one useful CM at Aug.
