Steven Whittaker can’t wait to taste life in the Premier League next season.
After refusing the transfer of his contract at a newco Rangers, the Scotland international defender became a free agent ahead of the new season.
Whittaker has now agreed a four-year deal with Norwich City, and the 28-year-old has revealed his excitement at the challenge a move to Carrow Road presents him with.
"All of my experience to date has been in Scotland so I'm really looking forward to the challenge of playing in the Premier League, I'm very excited about it,” he said.
"When I spoke to Chris Hughton I was very impressed with his plans to progress Norwich City and everyone I've spoken to in the game has had nothing but praise for the club.”
