Paris St Germain are set to make a play for Robin van Persie.

It is well documented that the Holland international is in the final 12 months of his contract, although Arsenal remain determined to extend his stay.

Van Persie, naturally, has plenty of admirers from around Europe, with Manchester City in particular keen to add him to their squad ahead of next season.

The Gunners would be reluctant to lose another player to the Blues, so if they are forced to sell, they could instead look to offload him to PSG in a £25million deal.
