Matthew Mills is wanted by Norwich City ahead of the new season.

New Canaries boss Chris Hughton is determined to build on the progress Paul Lambert made at Carrow Road last term, which ultimately led to his move to Aston Villa.

The City board will offer their new manager cash to spend during the summer window, and it is believed Leicester City defender Mills is a prime target.

The 25-year-old still has three years left on his contract at the Championship club, but Hughton hopes an offer of £3million will be enough to force a sale.
