Steven Davis is a target for Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.

The Northern Ireland international has rejected the transfer of his contract to a newco Rangers, and is therefore available on a free transfer.

Rodgers is looking to add more depth to his squad ahead of the new season, and it is believed he is prepared to offer Davis a return to England.

The 27-year-old has previously played for Aston Villa and Fulham in the Premier League, and is likely to jump at the chance of a move to Anfield.
