Sigurdsson seals Spurs switch
11:00 PM 04 July, 2012
Gylfi Sigurdsson has sealed his transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Iceland international impressed whilst on loan at Swansea City last season, and was expected to follow Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool on a permanent deal.

However, it emerged last week that Spurs were also interested in the 22-year-old midfielder, who was rated at £8million by German club Hoffenheim.

And now the Londoners have confirmed the signing of Sigurdsson, who becomes Andre Villas-Boas’ first signing since succeeding Harry Redknapp at White Hart Lane.
