Midfielder Simon Walton has been transfer-listed and fined two weeks wages by Plymouth following his dismissal in the 2-0 loss to Barnsley last Saturday
21-year old Walton was signed in the summer for a potentially club-record fee of 750,000 pounds. He was red-carded for kicking out Barnsley's Anderson Da Silva.
"I do feel that it's only appropriate. He's let down his fellow players as well which is a big disappointment to me," Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock told BBC Spotlight.
"I feel that after several times emphasising his petulance on the football pitch, it's best for both parties that I put him up for transfer."
"I did over emphasis the situation to him. Over the last couple of games there's been near-incidents where he could have got himself sent off and lo and behold he goes away and does it."
