Sheffield United are hoping to take Jeffrey Schlupp on loan.

Danny Wilson is looking to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season, as he looks to bounce back from last term’s playoff disappointment.

The Blades manager has revealed he has set his sights on Leicester City youngster Schlupp, who he hopes will drop down a division to join his League One side on loan.

"We've kept tabs on Jeffrey. We've been in touch with Leicester last season to see what his situation is. He's a quality player. That's down to Leicester,” said Wilson.
