Johnson doesn’t want Liverpool move
12:00 PM 14 July, 2012
Adam Johnson is prepared to snub a move to Liverpool this summer.

The 24-year-old has struggled to find regular first team football in the star-studded Manchester City side, which cost him his place in England’s Euro 2012 squad.

This has led to speculation that Johnson could seek a transfer during the window, and he has been linked with a £12million move to Anfield.

However, the former Middlesbrough winger is prepared to snub such a move, as he plots to force his way into City’s side and help them retain their title.

Johnson is also keen to play in the UEFA Champions League again next season, especially as Roberto Mancini’s side will be considered as one of the favourites to win the trophy.
