Sebastian Boenisch is being lined up by Celtic.

The 25-year-old played all three group games for host nation Poland at Euro 2012, when his performances won him a string of admirers.

Boenisch has been linked with a move to Newcastle United in recent weeks, but Neil Lennon hopes to lure him to Parkhead in the coming days.

The fullback is now available on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract, and the Bhoys can offer him regular first team action.
