Arsenal are lining up a move for Inigo Martinez.

Arsene Wenger is in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer, as he looks to make a push to end a seven-year trophy drought.

It is believed the Gunners coach has taken an interest in Real Sociedad ace Martinez, who remains under contract at his current club until 2015.

The 21-year-old has been named in Spain’s squad for the Olympics, when Wenger will make a decision whether to bid for the £6million-rated player.
