James McFadden admits he fancies a move to Celtic this summer.

The Scotland international almost joined his boyhood club last year until the deal fell through, for reasons which largely remain unknown.

McFadden has just been released by Everton following a brief second stint at the Toffees, and he is now hoping to resurrect a move to Parkhead.

"It is something that would appeal to me but whether it is a possibility, I don't know, you would need to ask somebody at Celtic,” said the 29-year-old forward.
