Stephen Warnock is being lined up for a move to Sunderland.

Martin O’Neill signed the England fullback during his time in charge of Aston Villa, and he now wants a reunion with the player at the Stadium of Light.

Warnock has struggled to find his best form for the Midlands side in recent times, and he is now in the final 12 months of his contract.

It is believed O’Neill will look to take the 30-year-old for a fee of around £2million, and the player would likely jump at the chance of such a move.
