Brendan Rodgers is interested in signing Victor Wanyama.

The Kenya international has only spent one season at Celtic, helping them win the title last season having scored four goals in 29 league appearances.

Wanyama has indicated he is keen to test his quality in the Premier League, and he has already been linked with a host of clubs including Manchester United.

And latest reports suggest Rodgers has identified the 21-yuear-old for his Liverpool squad, with an offer of £8million likely to be enough to secure the midfielder.
