The 25-year-old Uruguayan international is regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe, and has become a huge asset to Napoli.

Whilst Cavani has recently stated he has no intention of quitting the Italian club, it is believed Roberto Di Matteo would love him at Stamford Bridge.

And with club owner Roman Abramovich in generous mood since their UEFA Champions League win, the Blues boss is hoping to land the player for £35million.
