Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Andy Carroll.

The England international cost Liverpool a club record £35million when he joined in January 2011, but he has failed to find his best form on Merseyside.

Although Brendan Rodgers insists he is not actively looking to move the former Newcastle United ace on, he would likely accept bids of around £20million.

Andre Villas-Boas is looking for a new target man for his Spurs side, and it is thought he is considering making a move for Carroll, 23.
