West Ham United are eyeing Sebastian Boenisch and James Collins.

Having led the Upton Park club to the Premier League at the first time of asking, Sam Allardyce is now keen to strengthen his squad.

The United manager has already signed Modibo Maiga, Mohamed Diame, Jussi Jaaskelainen and George McCartney, and he hopes to add two more this week.

It is believed Aston Villa defender James Collins is about to rejoin his former club, and he could be joined by out-of-contract Poland fullback Boenisch.
