Chelsea will this week make a final move for Victor Moses.

The Nigerian international is in the final 12 months of his contract at Wigan Athletic, but the Lancashire club are refusing to let him go on the cheap.

Even if Moses remains at the DW Stadium for the coming season, the Latics know they would still be eligible for a compensation fee as he is only 21.

However, Chelsea remain hopeful of persuading them to sell this summer, and after seeing an offer of £5million rejected, will make a final offer of £7.5million.
