Alan Hutton could be heading to Stoke City this summer.

The Scotland international has only been at Aston Vila for 12 months, after Alex McLeish signed him from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

Hutton endured a miserable debut season in the Midlands, with some Villa supporters even labelling him as the worst player they had ever seen.

The fullback now looks to be on his way out of the club before the new campaign, with Stoke manager Tony Pulis set to take him for £2million.
