Swansea City are planning a bid for Jonjo Shelvey.

The former Charlton Athletic youngster has been at Liverpool since the summer of 2010, and he has gone on to make 28 league appearances.

Shelvey impressed during a loan spell at Blackpool last season, scoring six in ten matches, and he has been added to Michael Laudrup’s wanted list.

The Swans manager is believed to be eyeing up a £4million move for the 20-year-old, although the Reds could use this interest to help lure Joe Allen from the Liberty Stadium.
