Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed speculation linking Paris St Germain with Ashley Cole.

The former Chelsea boss is said to be interested in returning to Stamford Bridge to pick up the England international, who is in the final year of his contract.

However, whilst Ancelotti no doubt rates the quality of Cole, he insists he has finished adding to his squad with the Ligue 1 campaign just a week away.

"The transfer window is over for us," the Italian told Abola. "The club did a good job. All the news from England [about Cole] are just rumours."
