Queens Park Rangers are set to make a move for Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo international is well down the pecking order at Manchester City, but showed his quality whilst on loan at Tottenham Hotspur last season.
Adebayor was expected to make a permanent move to White Hart Lane this summer, but he has been unable to agree a deal with the capital club.
The 28-year-old striker could still be heading to London, though, with QPR now hoping to steal ahead of Spurs and take the former Arsenal ace.
This would see Adebayor reunited with Loftus Road manager Mark Hughes, who signed him whilst in charge of City in a £25million deal back in 2009.
