Chelsea are refusing to give up on landing Andre Schurrle.

Roberto Di Matteo has already spent heavily on his Blues squad this summer, with Brazilian international Oscar the latest recruit at £25million.

The Italian coach hasn’t finished his spending spree yet, though, with German international Schurrle still very much on his wanted list.

Bayer Leverkusen have already rejected one bid from the European champions for the 21-year-old forward, but Di Matteo is set to return with a £25million offer.
