Jermaine Pennant could be heading to Everton this summer.

The 29-year-old is in the final 12 months of his contract at Stoke City, and it is believed Tony Pulis is prepared to listen to offers for his signature.

Wigan Athletic were earlier this week linked with a move for Pennant, but it is now thought that they face stiff competition from the Toffees.

The winger, who had a three-year spell at Liverpool, could be available for as little as £2.5million, and this is a fee which David Moyes has at his disposal.
