Arsenal could be about to make a shock move for Edin Dzeko.

Having lost Robin van Persie to Manchester United, Arsene Wenger is considering signing a new striker, despite already buying two internationals this summer.

Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski have joined for a combined fee of £25million, but the Gunners coach is said to be thinking about making a move for Dzeko.

The Bosnian international has struggled to nail down a regular place in the Manchester City side, and Wenger would gladly pay £18million for his signature.
