Swansea City are closing on Ki Sung-Yeung.

The Swans made a sensational start to the new Premier League season, with a fantastic 5-0 win at Queens Park Rangers on the opening day of the campaign.

Michael Laudrup has been told he still has cash to spend before the 31 August deadline, and it is believed his top target is South Korean international Ki.

The 23-year-old has been a big success for Celtic since his arrival in the summer of 2009, but Swansea have tabled an offer of £5million and hope to conclude a deal this week.
