Roberto Di Matteo has already added to his midfield this summer, with the expensive acquisitions of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Marko Marin.

However, it appears as though the Blues boss has not finished yet, with latest reports suggesting he is lining up an offer to land Cabaye.

The France international enjoyed a fine debut season at Newcastle United last term, and it would take at least £15million to persuade the Magpies to sell.
