Queens Park Rangers are closing on an £8million deal for Michael Dawson.
Despite being named as Tottenham Hotspur captain following Ledley King’s retirement, Dawson is far from assured of his future at White Hart Lane.
Andre Villas-Boas is prepared to listen to offers for the former Nottingham Forest ace, who has designs on winning a place in Roy Hodgson’s England plans.
And it is believed QPR have made an £8million bid for the 28-year-old, and hope to conclude a deal for the defender before the weekend.
