Leeds United have named Simon Grayson their new manager although Blackpool denied Leeds permission to talk to him and refused his tendered resignation




The resignation came after Blackpool had refused to let the Tykes talk to the 39-year old Grayson.

A statement on the Blackpool website read: "Blackpool FC can confirm that Simon Grayson tendered his resignation on Tuesday morning.

"The resignation was not accepted by the board of directors and the club are now considering legal action against both Grayson and Leeds."
