Brian Howard has signed permanently for Sheffield United from Barnsley after being on loan since October 2008




Howard began his career at Southampton as a trainee before moving to Swindon and then Barnsley. He is an ex-England U-20 international but has been denied eligibility to play for Scotland by FIFA despite a call-up from Scotland boss George Burley.
