Michael Turner is expected to sign a new contract at Hull City Football Club.

The 25-year-old has been in great form for the Tigers this season, and a new deal is being prepared by Phil Brown's club.

"I'm not jumping the gun on a deal but we are sitting down with Turner's agent. Talks are at an advanced stage and we're hopeful of a deal," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I know that people will be interested in the money we're offering him but that's something we aren't going to disclose.

"The only thing Hull fans will be interested in is the length of his stay, which will be increased to 2012."
