Sunderland Football Club have not been approached for David Healy.

The Northern Ireland striker has been heavily linked with a move to Rangers this week, but the Black Cats insists no contact has been made.

"Nobody has phoned me regarding David Healy," Ricky Sbragia told Sky Sports.

"But I spoke to David about two weeks ago and I went and told the club he is important member of the team and is a good player."
