Baggies striker in shock Tottenham Hotspur link
07:53 PM 12 January, 2009
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have been linked with Roman Bednar.

Despite splashing out £14million on Roman Pavlyuchenko and £15million on Jermain Defoe, Spurs continue to be linked with a host of expensive strikers.

And according to the agent of West Bromwich Albion striker Bednar, Harry Redknapp is set to make a move for the Czech Republic hot-shot.

"We know of the Tottenham interest, of course, but there are also other Premier League clubs who want Roman. I cannot be more specific now," Pavel Zika told iDnes.cz.

"In terms of scoring, Bednar has joined players like (Cristiano) Ronaldo, (Frank) Lampard or (Steven) Gerrard, who have scored only a few more goals than him.

"And, as there is always interest in skilful scorers, Roman Bednar's move from West Bromwich Albion during this transfer window is not ruled out."

What Dave Jones said couldn't be closer to the truth...Levy is a cock and hasn't a clue about football or how to successfully manage or construct a team. Goo on ya Dave... LEVY OUT!

The mess Spurs r in can be directly traced back 2, +blamed on the chairman Daniel Levy. If he'd listened 2 Martin Jol+sold Berbatov @ start of last season (07-08) we wouldn't b in this mess now. Jol knew, as every other manager/coach knows, that an unhappy, unsettled player unbalances the team and Spurs would b beta off getting Berbatov out the door and a player in who wanted 2 b there. U can argue tht Berbatov is quality but Spurs finished 5th with Mido up front w/Keane b4 Berbatov arrived so we would've survived. If Levy had listened to Jol who, unlike Levy knows a bit about football, then Jol wouldn't have been fired because the team wouldn't have struggled 2 cope with a player who didn't want 2 b there. Instead Levy threw a tantrum + refused 2 let Berbatov go. The effect on the team last season was clear 4 all 2 c + now we r in a deep hole. Thanks Mr Chairman.. LEVY OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a yido, for 35years, and sad to say we are now in serious trouble, Harry, has now got to kick some backsides, the team are not playing good enough, we can longer rely on King, he is a great player and a legend at Tottenham, but it is time for him to hang up his boots, Gomez, should not be playing, and Bent and Bentley, Bye bye, my opion, if they don't want to play in the famous white shirt, and get thousands oper week, play the reserves.
