Nigel Reo-Coker believes Aston Villa Football Club have a winning mentality this season.

The Villa Park outfit have a genuine chance to finish in the top-four of the Premier League this season, and Reo-Coker has put this down to the mentality instilled by Martin O’Neill.

"It's not just my attitude. It's everyone's attitude. It's a fantastic atmosphere," he told The Sun. "We have a great English spirit and we get on well with the few foreigners we have in the team.

"It's the winning mentality and that's what Martin O'Neill has done well to embed in us. It's the fear of losing. A lot of teams are showing us respect now, even the top four.

“It's important we stay grounded, especially as we're in a Champions League spot at present."
