Stoke City Football Club hope to win the race for Aruna Dindane.

The Ivory Coast international has just recovered from a long-term knee injury, to reclaim his place in the line-up for French side Racing Lens.

However, Dindane could soon be packing his bags and heading out of Ligue 1, with a number of clubs being heavily linked with the 28-year-old.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion are believed to be interested in the forward, but Tony Pulis hopes to beat off all competition to take the player to the Britannia Stadium.
