Liverpool striker happy with Keane link-up
07:59 PM 13 January, 2009
Fernando Torres is confident he can hit it off with Robbie Keane at Liverpool Football Club.

Keane has struggled for form since moving to Anfield this summer, but fit-again Torres is sure he can help the former Tottenham Hotspur ace find his feet.

"Yes, sure we can play together - but the boss (Rafa Benitez) decides, he's the manager and he's a fantastic manager," said the Spanish international striker.

"Sometimes not all the players can play together in the same team. But I have played with Robbie a lot of times and we've scored goals when we've played together.

"I think we are going to play together, depending on the game."

I think whatever Rafa feels is the best attacking formation should be encouraged but a Keane-Torres attack is good to win us a trophy this season.

Keane and Torres will be a gd striking partners but Rafa preferred Kuyt rather than Keane. What a waste... Rafa should give Keane a chance to play rather than putting him on the bench.. Hmmmm.....
