Marseille are realistic over their chances of luring Didier Drogba from Chelsea Football Club.

As much as the French club would love to take the Ivory Coast international back to the Stade Velodrome, they accept their chances of such a deal are virtually zero.

"He is unreachable,” sporting director Jose Anigo told French radio station RMC. “Didier’s problem is that, even if he wants to come to Marseille, there’s a financial issue.

“Paying his wages is impossible for every French club."
