Zabaleta predicts beautiful future for Manchester City
Pablo Zabaleta believes the future is bright at Manchester City Football Club.
As the richest club on the planet look to land AC Milan’s Kaka for a world record £107million, Argentine international Zabaleta has confirmed these are exciting times at Eastlands.
“The club has some very beautiful plans,” he told the Daily Express.
“The club have the cash for important players. And that is a good thing because we all hope Manchester City will soon be fighting for the title and playing in the UEFA Champions League.
“A lot of players arrived right at the end of the summer transfer window, and Mark Hughes has had to gel them little by little. It is a slow process but the team is coming together now.
"We know that Mark Hughes is looking for players with character, strong players. He has the mentality of a winner. We are all extremely happy with that attitude and he is transmitting it to us.
"As for Kaka, he is a fantastic player, a world star. If he comes, it will be important for us because it would make us very proud to have one of the best players in the world.
“And it would be such a fantastic boost for the whole club."
