Jenas 2-for-1 swap deal on for Spurs?
10:41 AM 20 January, 2009
Tottenham could be set to trade in Jermaine Jenas for Adriano and Marco Materazzi of Inter Milan.

Jenas was mysteriously absent from the bench for Spurs' recent game versus Portsmouth, after falling foul of boss Harry Redknapp for failing to mark his man at Wigan.

Perhaps Jenas was in Milan negotiating contract terms with potential new employers?

It has been reported that Tottenham officials are there discussing the possibility of a double swoop for Brazilian striker Adriano and Italian World Cup winner Materazzi.

If we could get adriano on loan it could work out ,he is the kind of striker we need if he can be focussed The guy is better then Anelka and Drogba.Being in Milan obviously is a place he needs to leave to change his lifestyle he's only 26 .I know its London, but he might turn a corner .see it as a chance to make a come back. But if he is a success be warned hed be in a man city kit quick.

The enigma that is Jenas he could be a great player if he wasn't so soft I will be glad to see the back of him and give Tommy a chance. The comments by that idiot nash is typical so called mu supporters, most likely comes from essex or even furthur south, wait till the fa dictator rudolph retires, then see how much favourtism they get, until then worry about your own team you moron!!!!

lets face upto facts, jenas is one of spurs best players and thats sums up how poor the tottenham squad is. i mean you paid £15million for pavluychenko and £12 million for modric and they are a waste of space. Im a united fan and im thanking the spurs board who let carrick move to a proper football team, he seen through all the overrated ambtions and decided he was going to actually win trophies with united, so stop moaning and realise not one of your players is worth swapping for a pair of 'unwashed underpants'

I have never seen Jenas being very good but I have seen him hiding behind other players not to interfere with the play. You are joking I hope.

The time to ditch the underperforming coward is long past. Harry saw through this "vice-captain" very early on and if a deal can be hammered out with IM then good riddance.
