Ricardo Fuller is closing on a return to action for Stoke City Football Club.

The 29-year-old has missed the last three games for the Potters through suspension, after being sent off for clashing with his own team mate Andy Griffin.

But the Jamaican international has impressed with his attitude during a winter break in Dubai, and now Tony Pulis could recall him for the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.

“He certainly gives the impression he's raring to go," Pulis told The Sentinel. "I'm sure he's desperately keen to get back into the team to do well for the club, the fans and the lads.

"I'm sure he's got over everything that happened and he's certainly looked as bright as a button whenever he's put his foot down in training. I'm sure he'll pick up the pace pretty quickly."
