Carlo Cudicini has completed a free transfer move to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

The Italian goalkeeper has been playing number two to Petr Cech ever since the Czech Republic international arrived at Chelsea, and his contract was set to expire in the summer.

The Blues have allowed the 35-year-old to join the White Hart Lane club on a free transfer, as a reward for his service following his move from Castel di Sangro in 2000.

Cudicini is now expected to challenge Heurelho Gomes for the number one spot at Harry Redknapp’s Spurs, who face Stoke City in the Premier League this week.
