Manchester City Football Club face missing out on Sergio Aguero.

It has been reported that the richest club on the planet want to take the Argentine international at the end of the season, in what could be their major transfer deal of the summer.

A fee in the region of £40million could be enough to make Atletico Madrid think of selling, but City face a task persuading the forward to move to England after he stated his intention to remain in the Spanish capita.

"I am tired of all the buzz about where I might be going - the club does not want to sell me and I want to continue at Atletico so things are clear," said Aguero, 20. "I do not know what will happen in the summer.

“But I have a contract with Atletico. I know from my agent that many clubs have asked about me and some even submitted a bid but I have not thought about leaving because I am happy here."
