Allardyce closes on ‘Egyptian David Beckham’
Ahmed Al-Mohammadi claims to be on the verge of a move to Blackburn Rovers.
Sam Allardyce is eager to bolster his squad at Ewood Park this month in a bid to pull away from the relegation zone, and Al-Mohammadi claims to be on his way to the Lancastrians.
"My six-month deal should be finalised soon," Al-Mohammadi, who is dubbed as Egypt’s equivalent to England international David Beckham, told The Sun.
This isn’t the first time Rovers have been linked with the 21-year-old ENPPI Club winger, as former boss Paul Ince wanted him to replace David Bentley in the summer.
