Old Firm countdown: will Boyd make the difference this time?
02:15 PM 12 February, 2009
Kris Boyd hopes to get another chance to down Celtic on Sunday.

"I had a big chance after half time in the December game but, unfortunately, it didn't go in," said the striker, who is looking to nail once and for all the charge that he doesn't deliver in big games.

"In game like that, there is a thin line between success and failure."

Quoted in the Daily Record, Boyd added: "I should have scored but there is not a lot you can do when the ball goes up the other end and someone smashes home a great goal.

"The most disappointing thing for me was that Celtic maybe only had two chances all game. Georgios Samaras had a header after McDonald scored and that was it. If I had beaten Boruc I don't think there would have been any way back for them."

Boyd is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH! He'll score against the wee teams, but he's bottled it too often when he was needed by Rangers.
