James Morrison wants to prove Middlesbrough Football Club wrong this weekend.

The Teesside club lost one of their own when they agreed to let the midfielder leave for West Bromwich Albion in August last year, and as the two sides prepare to face each other, he is keen on revenge.

"I don't have any regrets from Middlesbrough other than it being my hometown club and I wish I could have done a bit better," Morrison told the Express & Star.

"But I feel I have something to prove from the point of view that they let me go. I'm not the sort of person to bear grudges. I just let my football do the talking."
