Clement hopes to help West Bromwich Albion
Neil Clement hopes to play his part in keeping West Bromwich Albion Football Club in the Premier League.
The defender is currently sidelined with a knee injury, but he has resumed jogging and hopes to return to action before the end of the season.
"It is a big landmark I have reached in the last couple of couple days by able to do some jogging. I'm working hard in the gym and I am happy with the way things are progressing,” said Clement.
"It is a slow process but I have done everything right. It's February now and I am looking two months down the line. That would only leave a month of the season to go but that would still be fine if I could make it.
"It happened last season when I managed to get back from the problem in the other knee and we got promoted.
"It would be nice to come back this season and do the same and for West Brom stay up but we will see what happens.
"It's true I would like to play again this season but I don't want to get my hopes up too much because then I'd be devastated if I don't get back."
