Bacary Sagna is pinning his hopes on a good FA Cup campaign with Arsenal this season.

The Gunners face Cardiff City in a fourth round replay on Monday night, the winners of which will take on Burnley in the fourth round before facing Sheffield United or Hull City in the last eight.

And with the Premier League title out of the question for the Londoners, Sagna is aware he and his team-mates can restore some home pride by winning the FA Cup for the first time since 2005.

"We can feel it as soon as we run out on the pitch, from the fans, it is the oldest cup competition in the world. In England it is very important for the teams," said the French full-back.
